Are you passionate about helping children in child welfare?

Are you passionate about helping children in Douglas County? Douglas County CASA, a child and family advocacy program serving the Douglas County community for over 33 years, is looking to recruit up to 5 new board members.

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about helping children who have experienced abuse and neglect by sharing their time and skills to help govern the organization by serving on the board of directors.

We are seeking to diversify our board in gender, race (black, Native American, Asian), lived experience (former child welfare child/youth, former child welfare involved caregiver), and experience or expertise (Human Resources, Strategic Planning, Development and Fundraising).

We are also seeking individuals who understand the importance of sharing our mission and impact with their network of individuals and groups to help us GROW, while ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the organization. If you are interested, please email or call Erick Vaughn, Executive Director at [email protected] or 785.832.5172.
