CASA Volunteers Directly Impact Children's Lives

Our Vision

For all children in Douglas County, Kansas to live in safe, nurturing, and permanent homes.

Volunteers outside talking and getting ready to serve.
our team

We train volunteers to speak up for kids in the Douglas County, KS child welfare system.

Court Appointed Special Advocates are volunteers trained to advocate for children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are under the protection of the court. CASA Volunteers are appointed by the Judge and meet regularly with the child, review records, and talk to family members and professionals involved in the child's case. They help guide these children to safe, permanent homes and stable lives.
