"Longest-serving CASA in Douglas County retires, leaves legacy of care, dedication"
Georgia Orchard, who served as a CASA volunteer since the Douglas County program was established in 1991, recently retired and spoke with Lucy Peterson at the Kansas Reflector about her child advocacy work in the community over three decades.
At any given time there are 165 children in foster care due to child abuse and neglect in our area, help us help those children who are still waiting for a CASA volunteer.
