Get ready for an unforgettable evening as The Willow Domestic Violence Center proudly hosts Miss Kansas, Alexis Smith, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month! Alexis, whose powerful response at the 2024 Miss Kansas Pageant made headlines, will take the stage to share her inspiring platform, Respect Reclaimed: Advocating for Healthy Relationships.

In a moment that went viral, Alexis courageously declared, "My vision as the next Miss Kansas is to eliminate unhealthy and abusive relationships." Her fearless message resonated with many as she affirmed, "Some of you saw me very emotional because my abuser is here today, but that's not going to stop me from representing as the next Miss Kansas. Because I and my community deserve healthy relationships!"

Join us at 5:30 p.m. for an exclusive meet and greet with Alexis, followed by her empowering keynote address. Afterward, there will be a Q&A session where you'll have the chance to engage with this remarkable advocate. If time permits, Alexis will be available to chat and take photos. Don't miss this chance to be inspired and take a stand against domestic violence!

We are limiting the number of attendees to try to ensure that everyone will have a chance to meet and converse with Alexis. As we approach the event, we will assess the number of tickets we release.
