Join Douglas County CASA and DCCCA to address addiction and substance misuse in Kansas. In this training, attendees will:
- Learn about the impact of the opioid crisis nationally and in Kansas
- Develop your ability to prevent, recognize, and respond to an opioid overdose
- Explore resources associated with opioids in Kansas
- Learn how to administer naloxone if an opioid overdose is suspected
A light lunch will be provided. This free and public training is funded by a grant from the Kansas Fights Addiction Fund.
