The Racial Equity Collaborative is hosting a community forum using interactive theater to challenge and interrupt racial bias and racism in various child welfare scenarios. The REC, child welfare professionals, researchers, and lived voices inspired and collaborated with a published playwright and professor at the University of Kansas, Darren Canady, to write, produce, and perform a series of short acts that depict the nuanced ways systemic racism impacts child welfare involved families.
