Development Director

Douglas County CASA is searching for a Development Director to join our team to lead and engage others in our development and fundraising efforts as we continue to grow to serve every child under the protection of the court due to abuse and/or neglect from Douglas County, Kansas. The position leads and supports our organization in continuing, creating, modifying, and implementing strategies that ensure sustainability and growth with a focus on major donor and business relationship development. This position serves to further our mission by providing fundraising and development management and support for the organization under the direction of and with the Executive Director and Board. The Development Director is responsible for the administrative operations of Douglas County CASA specific to development and fundraising, including development and implementation of development plans, gift processing, donor acknowledgment, donor database management, reporting, supporting and leading event and committee planning and coordination, and management of other skilled volunteers.

We plan to hire for one full-time position. We are posting this position on March 29, 2024, with desired start date as soon as possible. The position will remain open until filled.
